The Builder Division, created in 2009, originally focused solely on new construction
of multifamily housing projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Since then, the team has grown to a group with over 200 years of construction management and lighting experience collectively. They now supply lighting for multifamily jobs across the country and have firmly established their reputation in the industry. The Builder Division’s “can-do” aggressive value engineering bulldozes the lighting industry with undeniably winning results.
Quotations – Working from project drawings and schematics, we partner with you and your team by providing numbers that meets specifications as written, as well as value engineered solutions to drive down costs. “Value Engineering” is a term that is too often thrown around that now needs to be taken seriously. With LED, new energy codes, and assisted living lighting codes changing the game, The Builder Division proudly provides lighting experts to match light levels and design truly. Between our buying power across the industry and our unmatched volume potential within Texas Fluorescents, we have the capabilities to secure maximum volume discounts and pass those savings along to our customers.
Project Management – We hire only the best and brightest construction project managers. They know the ins and outs of construction project management while maintaining a strong sense of urgency throughout the project. This ensures no
surprises so that your lighting products are supplied on time and within budget.
Shipping – Our division alone has 30,000 square feet of insured warehouse space. We can bring in an entire project and ship according to your needs. This puts
pressure on the owners and designers to make decisions up front and settles any
late delivery anxiety. Your product will arrive on site with appropriate labeling as to types and locations that coordinate with your paperwork.
Custom Fixtures – Because of our shared ownership with Texas Fluorescents,
we benefit from their expertise in custom fixture design and LED solutions that are cutting-edge. Custom powder coating is also a part of their offerings that is located in house before the fixture even gets packaged.
Expert Warehousing & Shipping Team – We have warehousing capabilities to store your job’s materials until they are needed on the project. Our goal is to release materials within one business day of notification if needed, and in many cases we can ship the same day. We have a meticulous shipping quality control check to ensure that the correct fixtures in the proper quantities ship to the job site. We expertly pack your materials to arrive on the job site in working condition.
After Sales Support – Our job is not done when the project materials ship. We stay in touch with the construction project manager and ownership until they leave the job site, ensuring that their lighting needs never go unmet. We also stand behind our products, offering warranties that meet or exceed industry standards. We are also professional in our draw process, ensuring that things on the administrative side of the project run as smoothly as possible.
Learning – We strive as a team to stay current on new lighting solutions and
applications and be a part of leading “Rethinking Lighting”.
